Children’s Audiology
Introduction
We provide an outpatient based, diagnostic hearing testing service to children aged 7 months to 18 years old, who are registered with a GP in the Mid Essex Area. Children can be referred from various healthcare professionals including, Newborn Hearing Screeners, GPs, Speech and Language Therapists, Community Paediatricians, Health Visitors, Community Nursery Nurses and School Nurses.
Our team
Our Team is comprised of 2 Senior Paediatric Audiologists and 5 specialist trained clinic assistants who support testing and advice in our clinics as well as working with the Community Paediatricians.
Where you can Find Us
Our Audiology clinic is based at Stapleford House in Chelmsford with each child being tested in our specialist soundproof room.
How to refer to audiology
Your child can be referred by a healthcare professional, such as your GP or hospital consultant.
