Help with looking after themselves
Some children have difficulties with activities of daily living including dressing, tying shoelaces, using cutlery, toileting and getting washed.
If you feel a child is having difficulty with any of these areas, you will find some useful advice on how to support them in this section of the website.
If the child continues to have difficulty with activities of daily living, they may benefit from an assessment by an Occupational Therapist. Please talk to your school Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO), GP or other health care professional about this.
